Fostering Transparency and Accountability-MPSPC Conducted Inclusive Budget Forum and Consultation

Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) recently conducted the Budget Forum and Consultation, which is an embodiment of transparency, inclusivity, and accountability that reflects its collective vision toward an internationally recognized higher education institution,” stated College President Edgar G. Cue, represented by Mr. Reynaldo P. Gayo, Jr., at the Audio-Visual Room (AVR) of the Nursing Department today, November 7, 2023.

This was participated by college officials, unit and department heads, and representatives from the Supreme Student Government (SSG). MPSPC Non-Teaching Personnel Union, MPSPC-Union of Faculty Employees, and stakeholders.

Key discussions included prioritizing budget allocations for infrastructure improvements, technology resources, fair employee compensation, student support services, and sustainability initiatives.

The active participation of college officials, students, faculty, non-teaching staff, and stakeholders provided valuable insights, aligning budget decisions with the needs and priorities of the college and the community. As a result, MPSPC committed to refining its budget allocations, creating a follow-up committee for accountability, and making the forum an annual event. This collaborative process reflects MPSPC’s dedication to shared governance, fostering trust, unity, and a stronger sense of community. By continuing to involve stakeholders in budgeting, MPSPC enhances institutional transparency, stability, and the quality of campus life for all.
