Being one of the partner agency of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC), the Agricultural Cooperative Development International/Volunteers in Overseas Cooperative Assistance (ACDI/VOCA) Philippine Coffee Advancement and Farm Enterprise (PhilCAFE) initiated the turnover of its project to MPSPC today, September 29 at the CVSDREP Complex, Ba-ang, Bauko, MP.
Dr. Epiphania B. Magwilang, Vice President for Research Development and Extension (RDE) warmly welcomed the team from ACDI/VICA PhilCAFE being a significant partner in innovation toward a sustainable local coffee product.
In his message, Mr. Terrence J. Ryan, ACDI/VOCA PhilCAFE Chief of Party, shared a remarkable journey of their project in collaboration with the different state universities and colleges in northern Luzon including the MPSPC underscoring its achievement on the various inputs and researches for coffee production.
College President Edgar G. Cue expressed his gratitude to the ACDI/VOCA PhilCAFE for sharing a productive linkage in the development of local coffee in Ba-ang including the establishment of cupping laboratory, water system and the Arabica Coffee Nursery.
“We thank you for your trust in MPSPC’s capabilities in turning our shared vision on coffee into reality,” Cue added.
Moreover, the turnover of project to MPSPC included one vehicle and office equipment.
