The Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) recently organized a comprehensive assessment and strategic planning workshop aimed at fostering collaboration and aligning the institution’s objectives with regional and national needs. The event gathered representatives from various sectors, including government agencies, local businesses, non-profit organizations, and community leaders, to jointly evaluate progress and develop forward-looking strategies.
“Where do we want to go for the next few years?” thus posed College President Dr. Edgar G. Cue during the Collegewide Assessment and Strategic Planning of Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) at Marand Resort, Bauang, La Union.
Dr. Cue pondered on the development goals of the College in its quests to be “an internationally recognized university for cultural continuity and technological innovations that transforms lives and fosters sustainable development.”

Meanwhile, various development planning agencies from the national line agencies and local government units presented the different development plans and priority programs as basis for the formulation of the College’s strategic goals and objectives.
Atty. Dalog, who represents Hon. Mark O. Go, Chairman of the House Committee on Higher and Technical Education, to the MPSPC Board of Trustees, expressed her commendations to the MPSPC leadership for involving various regional and local development agencies during its strategic planning and setting the College’s new directions in view of the new administration of College President Dr. Edgar G.
