Mountain Province State Polytechnic College Takes Active Role in Disaster Risk Reduction Initiatives

In a proactive move towards enhancing disaster resilience, Mr. Joseph Brillantes represented the College during the quarterly meeting of the Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction Management (PDRRM) Council for Calendar Year 2022 held on November 14, 2022, at Myrna’s Hall, Samoki Valley Inn and Restaurant.

During the meeting, Mr. Brillantes endorsed resolutions to advance disaster prevention, reduction, and recovery initiatives within the province. The engagement showcased the institution’s commitment to fostering a culture of preparedness and resilience.

The meeting brought together key stakeholders, government officials, and representatives from various sectors to discuss and strategize the province’s approach to disaster risk reduction.

During the meeting, Mr. Brillantes highlighted the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing the challenges of natural disasters. The resolutions endorsed by MPSPC underscored the necessity of a comprehensive and community-driven approach to disaster management.
