The MPSPC Guidance Office, through the Extension Unit extended its expertise on mental health during the “Child’s Mental Health Awareness and Psycho-social Support” program organized by the Barlig Local Government Unit. In response to a request by the Barlig LGU, Guidance Counselors Claire Agyapas and Rose Ann Cayabas, and Psychometrician Cristine Felimon facilitated a psychological test for a total of 370 children, composed of Grade 5-6 pupils and Grade 7-10 students from the 14 public elementary and high schools of Barlig District. The activity which is also a collaborative effort with PDEA-Mountain Province and PNP-Barlig was held successively at Barlig Open Gym, Chupac Open Gym, and Lias Open Gym last September 6-7, 2022.
