MPSPC ROTC Joins the Phil ROTC Games Luzon Qualifying Leg

Led by the College President Edgar G. Cue, delegates from the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC) joined the Philippine Reserved Officer Training Corps (ROTC) Games Luzon Qualifying Leg’s kick-off that was held at Cavite State University, Indang, Cavite on September 17.

 With the theme “Tibay at Galing, Pagyamanin, Suportahan, Palarong ROTC Natin”, the ROTC games envisions to bolster patriotism and nation-building among Filipinos.

The MPSPC delegates composed of athletic and exceptional cadets will compete in various sports competitions among the different ROTC units such as Army, Air Force, and Navy from various state universities and colleges (SUCs) within Luzon.

 Said kick-off was attended by Senator Christopher Lawrence “Bong” Go who served as the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Sen. Francis Tolentino, the author of the Philippine ROTC Games, Prospero “Popoy” E. de Vera III, Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Chairman, SUC Presidents together with the different elected local government officials of Cavite and Tagaytay. This was a joint effort of the Philippine Sports Commission (PSC), Department of National Defense (DND), CHED and the Senate of the Philippines.
