The joint effort of the Mountain Province State Polytechnic College (MPSPC), the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) in launching the Project MARiTES or Mobilizing Available Resources through Inclusive Training on Entrepreneurship of Student-Grantee paid off with the recently concluded Youth Entrepreneurship Program – Project MARiTES Provincial Business Pitching. The said competition was attended by mentees from both MPSPC and the DTI including Maam Mabel Falag-ey Banggawan, Provincial Director of DTI-MP, Maam Abrella Mangges Dangla, the OIC Division Chief-Industry Development Division and Mr. Vadim Victor Scott Ananayo, the Chairperson of BSBA Department who also served as the panel of judges for the competition. The first place was Kapian Ed Num-a by Miss Jera Palayen while Kodalan Herb Products by Mister Kerwin Palpal got the second place. Third place went to Miss Asher Balway with her Snug Buds business.
The top 2 winners will represent Mountain Province in the upcoming Regional Business Pitching Competition on October 19, 2022 at Benguet State University together with the Mentees’ graduation.
Maam Yakima D. Cadiogan, the DTI YEP Focal person and Sir Somerson C, Kis-ing, the Coordinator for Scholarships and Grants of MPSPC promised a year 4 of this YEP-Project MARiTES with a series of activities where all students are welcome to join.
